Safety Harbor Web Design – How Long Does It Take?
Considering web design in Safety Harbor, FL? One of the most common questions we’re asked is, “How long does it take to design a website?” There are a number of factors that impact the web design schedule. In this video, Mark Steinbrueck, co-founder of SkywayWeb Design and Marketing explains the things that impact how long it takes to design a website so you can weigh these factors into your web design decisions.
Notes from the Video:
- Four major components will dictate the time involved to build a website which involves:
- Whether or not you are using a custom or premade design.
- A predesigned website will come with a look and layout while a custom website will be started from scratch. A premade design will take less time to build.
- Secondly, the number of revisions will also impact the time it takes to build a custom-designed website. Fewer revisions mean less time to build the website.
- Another thing that will affect the time it takes to build a website is the amount of content and the number of functionalities that are being integrated into the website.
- A website with minimal content and functionality will go a lot quicker than a website with fifty or more pages and ten or more functionalities integrated into the website.
- Lastly, the thing that will impact the development and the build time is the response time of the developer as well as the client.
- When the response time is more than one day it can delay the process.
- Whether or not you are using a custom or premade design.
